News: Tribeca Open Artists Studio Tour
One of my sculpture dolls is featured in the April issue of Tribeca Tribune!

Please come to my studio during this annual event:
When: Friday April 27, 6-8:30 pm, Sat. April 28 and Sun. April 29, 1-6 pm.
Where: My Studio, 368 Broadway, between White and Franklin Streets, third floor, Suite 307
What: Public event, tour the studios, meet the artists, buy artwork directly from the artists!
How: It's Free. Come to Tribeca and walk several blocks south of Canal to my studio building!
My artwork consists of collages, works on paper/drawings, paintings and multi-media on canvas and board. I have started a new series of works on paper, collage drawings I call, "Scribble Collage Self-Portraits." There are now 11 images from this series on this website to view:

My four other main series of work that I continue to work on are: "Inner Landscapes" (begun in fall of 2006), Flower Portraits (begun in 2004), "Warrior Dolls", begun in 2009, Sculptures, begun around 2005...
In all my series of works, my emphasis is on the themes of process, self exploration, impermanence, and the physical aspect of making art including layering, reusing pieces of old drawings and adding them to new work. This process of using old drawings again is a theme throughout my work related to the idea of self-portraiture and the concept of memory and ways of playing with the theme of time and space.
